Day 2 – Kunya-Urgench and Darvaza Gas Crater
Early Morning Flight to Dashoguz
Transfer to Ashgabat Domestic Airport for an early morning flight to Dashoguz, with departure at approximately 06:00 AM.
Your hotel will prepare a breakfast box for the journey.
Upon arrival in Dashoguz, meet your local driver.
Drive to Kunya-Urgench
Travel approximately 100 km to Kunya-Urgench.
The drive takes around 1.5–2 hours.

Day 3 – Darvaza, Desert Craters and Ashgabat

Journey to Gonur Depe
After breakfast at the hotel, leave Mary and travel into the Karakum Desert towards Gonur Depe.
The off-road journey takes approximately 2 hours.
Gonur Depe was an important centre of the Bronze Age civilisation of Margiana, dating approximately from 2300–1600 BC.

Transfer to Farap Border
Continue to the Farap Border Checkpoint.
