  • Discovering Ashgabat: The afternoon is dedicated entirely to exploring Ashgabat. Accompanied by your private guide, you will uncover the record-breaking architecture of this white-marble metropolis. The schedule remains flexible — we will introduce you to majestic monuments, futuristic parks, and hidden historic corners at a pace that suits you perfectly.

  • Overnight: Hotel in Ashgabat.

Day 2:

Secrets of the Silk Road and Living Traditions in the Mary Oasis
  • Morning Departure: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before travelling eastwards towards the legendary historical oasis.

  • Interactive Ethnographic Programme: Before diving into archaeology, stop at the traditional “Turkmen Ojak” complex:

    • Living Icons: A photo session with the formidable yet gentle Alabay dogs — the nation’s pride — and Bactrian camels.

    • Colonial Attire: Try on authentic Turkmen garments, including heavy woollen telpek hats and silver-embellished robes, for portraits inside a traditional yurt.

  • The Magic of Darvaza: Arrive at the giant, blazing gas crater precisely as the sun begins to set.

  • Open-Air Dining: Enjoy a freshly prepared barbecue dinner beneath a star-filled desert sky. Capture spectacular photographs of the roaring flames as the evening darkness settles around the camp.

  • Overnight: Authentic and comfortable Turkmen yurts at the crater campsite.

Day 4:

Dawn over the Dunes, Eastern Hammam and Departure
  • Morning in the Karakum: Breakfast at the camp. For early risers, there is an optional dawn walk to witness a spectacular sunrise over the Darvaza crater. Afterwards, drive back to Ashgabat.

  • Recharge and Relax: Upon arrival in the city, indulge in a visit to a traditional hammam — the perfect way to unwind after a night in the desert. The remainder of the afternoon can be spent purchasing souvenirs or exploring the vibrant local markets.

  • Final Transfer: A late-evening transfer to the international terminal ensures you arrive in good time for your departing flight.
