Then, a dash into the depths of the legendary desert! A 300-km journey awaits, featuring cosy stops at roadside teahouses where time seems to stand still. By evening, we reach our destination — the Darvaza Crater. Witness the setting sun sink into the sands as the fierce flames of the “Door to Hell” ignite in its place. The nocturnal visit to the crater is the day’s crescendo: a mystical glow beneath a bottomless starry sky that will leave an everlasting mark on your heart.

Day 2: Darvaza – Ashgabat – Overnight Train to Turkmenabat

From Raw Elements to the Marble Majesty of the Capital

Witness the most unforgettable sunrise of your life as the first rays of light illuminate the blazing crater. After an al fresco breakfast, we set our course south towards Ashgabat.

The desert road is full of surprises: we will make exclusive photo stops at the bubbling mud crater and the sky-blue water crater. Upon arrival in the capital, you will have the opportunity to refresh and relax before discovering our “white-marble world.” We will showcase futuristic Ashgabat in all its splendour, from golden domes to monumental squares.

In the evening, our journey shifts rhythm — at 19:50, we take our seats on the overnight train. Lulled by the rhythmic beat of the tracks, you will head east, traversing the country as you sleep.

Day 3: Turkmenabat – Farap

Echoes of the Silk Road and a Legendary Farewell

At 09:20, the railway brings us to Turkmenabat. We begin the day with a deep dive into history at the walls of the ancient Amul Fortress. You will climb the historic ramparts, wander through the ruins, and feel the spirit of the caravan routes that once flourished here.

After a brief city tour and a final photo session, we proceed to the Farap border crossing. Our guide will provide full support and assistance with all formalities on the Turkmen side, ensuring your departure from this extraordinary country is seamless and comfortable.
