Day 2: Dashoguz – Izmukshir – Darvaza

Secrets of Ancient Walls: An excursion to the Izmukshir Fortress, where the ruins still echo the spirit of ancient battles and past greatness.

Into the Heart of the Karakum: A journey across the vast desert sands (approx. 300 km) with cosy stops at roadside teahouses, where time seems to stand still.

Night at the ‘Gates of Hell’: Settle into an atmospheric yurt camp. At sunset, you will witness the Darvaza Crater begin to glow with its full power, transforming into a giant flaming torch under the starlit sky. It is the perfect moment for the most spectacular photo session of your journey.
Day 3: Darvaza – Dashoguz – Shavat

Morning Magic: Wake with the first rays of sun at the crater, followed by an alfresco breakfast in the heart of the desert.

The Way Home: Drive back through the desert to Dashoguz. After a farewell lunch in the city, we shall head towards the border.
